第26届“外研社·国才杯”全国大学生英语辩论赛全国决赛于6月2日圆满落幕。来自全国包括港澳的四大赛区，共141支地区赛晋级队伍，经过两天的激烈比拼，于论点交锋中尽显智慧，在字句斟酌中拼求真谛，再次展现了当代中国青年朝气蓬勃、奋发向前的精神风貌与扎实良好的语言功底和思辨能力。

我校2022级商务英语与英语（Intl）专业大二学子马特和洪健翔在指导教师焦燕的带领下，与来自全国各大高校近300名本科生与研究生在辩场交锋，经过两天八轮的鏖战，打出总积分10分，排名106的好成绩，荣获全国三等奖。

全国循环赛共八轮，历时两天。辩题多元，兼具广泛性和时代性，不仅涉及慈善事业、可再生能源、公共医疗等多个维度的社会问题，而且涵盖人工智能、大学生就业抉择等当下热点话题，在考查选手知识储备和思辨能力的基础上，更激发了当代大学生努力践行新时代使命担当的决心。

“外研社·国才杯”全国大学生英语辩论赛包括港澳地区高校在内，分为华东、华西、华北、华南四大赛区，大赛辩题涉及经济、法律、教育、国际关系等各个方面，是目前国内高规格、大规模、专业化的权威赛事之一，是为英语辩论选手提供学术交流和思维碰撞的平台，有助于学生开拓国际视野、强化学习意识，提升英语表达和思辨能力。

本届比赛自去年10月启动，历经校园选拔赛、地区复赛、决赛三个阶段。在地区复赛阶段，指导教师和参赛选手顶住压力，沉着应战，从华东地区130支高校队伍中脱颖而出，荣获华东地区二等奖并成功晋级全国总决赛。在备赛国赛中，两位同学积极沟通、勤于练习、高效配合、沉着应战；与指导老师进行交流分析，及时总结、找出问题并为下一场的调整完善做好准备。最终，历经两天八场循环赛后，获得国家级三等奖，展现了我校学子过硬的专业素养和优异的思辨能力。

2022级英语本科（Intl）班洪健翔同学赛后心得：

Participating in the two-day online competition was a significant challenge for me. However, throughout the intensive eight rounds of debate, I discovered the true enjoyment and depth of English debating. It demands much more than fluent English and the rapid output of opinions. Essential elements include close cooperation with teammates, a spirit of sacrifice, the ability to adapt to the opponent's arguments, flexibility in critical thinking and rebuttal, self-confidence, and a generous demeanor.

Engaging with the seasoned debaters in this competition highlighted my own shortcomings and allowed me to witness the remarkable performances of many outstanding participants. I have been deeply inspired by them.

Looking ahead, I am committed to learning from these experienced debaters, enriching the content of my speeches, and improving my language skills. I aim to unlock my full potential, applying critical thinking not only in debates and competitions but also in my everyday life. My goal is to become a diligent individual who embraces critical thinking and continuous improvement.

2022级商务英语本科1班马特同学赛后心得：

The national competition has been an enlightening experience. It provided me with a clearer understanding of my English abilities and highlighted areas that need further improvement. Competing against opponents from across the country allowed us to gauge our skills, recognize the gaps, and realize our potential for growth.

I am deeply grateful to my partner, who is not only my schoolmate but also a dear friend.I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our tutor, Jiao Yan. Her meticulous guidance and detailed advice were invaluable throughout the competition. Her support provided us with this incredible opportunity to broaden our horizons and grow as individuals.
