学校历史可追溯到1824年，紧邻哈德斯菲尔德市中心，校内现代化建筑与十九世纪的交相辉映，哈德斯菲尔德窄运河流经校园。学校在众多领域上的研究都享有国际声誉，其精密技术中心是全英公认最好的精密技术研究中心，同时也是全欧乃至全世界排名前三的精密技术研究中心之一，该中心在精度理论和精密技术方面的研究在全世界都享有极高的声誉。大学拥有约30000学生，其中有来自全球130多个国家的约4500名国际学生。现任校长是约克公爵安德鲁王子。在2015年《卫报》英国大学综合排名 第56名。
来访嘉宾：Keith Best
Keith is an Associate Member of both the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountants，with over 30 years' experience in Local Government Finance.
Keith is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting joining the University of Huddersfield in November 2012. He is Year Tutor for the second year of the Accountancy Undergraduate Suite in addition to being an Admissions Tutor. He regularly visits schools and colleges throughout the year to talk about studying accountancy at Huddersfield.
Keith teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, specialising in public sector accounting and management accounting. Keith is Module Leader for 2 second year subjects,"Management Accounting" and "Management Science Applications" Keith currently also teaches "Advanced Management Accounting" to final year students.

住宿条件
学校为学生建造了一个学生村，其中设立学生的住宿公寓，公寓一般由8个房间组成，分混合式住宿或单一性别式住宿。所有的公寓都有公共厨房和休息区。每个公寓均有共用的两个厕所，两个淋浴间和浴缸。所有的房间都带有套房设施，并且全部达到三星级饭店的住宿标准。哈德斯菲尔德大学为能够向学生提供全面、高质量的服务以及帮助而深感自豪。
英语要求：IELTS 6.0 单项不低于5.5分(低于此成绩的申请者需要就读4,6,8,12周的语言课程)
学术要求：专科成绩80%
