第28届“外研社·国才杯”全国大学生英语辩论赛华东赛区复赛于4月18日圆满落幕。华东赛区共有126支高校参赛队伍参赛，其中包括复旦大学、浙江大学、上海交通大学等区域代表性高校。经过两天五轮激烈角逐，我校23级英语本科3班江昊阳同学、24级商务英语国际1班庄烨同学在指导教师焦燕老师的带领下，荣获华东赛区银奖。此次获奖，充分展现了温商学子扎实的语言功底、出色的思辨能力和良好的团队协作精神，也离不开学院的高度重视与全方位支持。

  “外研社·国才杯”全国大学生英语辩论赛历经28年发展，已成为国内高校英语类学科竞赛中的权威赛事之一，并被纳入教育部高等教育学会发布的“中国高校创新人才培养暨学科竞赛排行榜”。第28届赛事覆盖内地及港澳地区高校，设华东、华西、华北、华南四大赛区。在外研社主办的全国性英语赛事体系中，该项赛事以规格高、规模大、竞争强、认可度高著称，是检验高校英语人才培养质量和学生综合素养的重要平台。本届华东赛区复赛辩题设置多元丰富，既围绕社会福利、市场机制等社会议题展开探讨，也紧扣冬运会等热点体育赛事，全面考察选手的知识储备、语言表达、逻辑思辨与临场应变能力，同时进一步激发了青年学生关注现实、思考时代、勇担使命的责任意识。

  本届赛事自去年12月正式启动，先后经历校园选拔赛和地区复赛等多个阶段。备赛过程中，指导教师悉心指导，两位参赛同学密切配合、勤学苦练、反复打磨，在课余时间多次与老师深入研讨、细致复盘，及时总结经验、查找不足，不断优化比赛策略。赛场上，两位选手沉稳应战、默契协作，一路过关斩将，最终以总积分8分达到国赛晋级标准，虽因单项分数差距遗憾未能晋级全国总决赛，但仍斩获华东赛区银奖。此次获奖不仅是对参赛选手与指导教师辛勤付出的肯定，也彰显了学校英语类专业人才培养的阶段性成效。未来，学院将继续坚持以赛促学、以赛促教、以赛促练，不断提升学生语言应用能力、思辨能力和国际传播素养，推动高水平外语人才培养再上新台阶。

  24级商务英语国际1班庄烨同学赛后心得：This journey made me realize that convincing debate strength does not depend on the number of viewpoints, but on rigorous, evidence-supported reasoning that can withstand targeted attacks and strategic restrictions. Overall, I am immensely fulfilled and satisfied with everything I have gained throughout this tournament. I feel deeply satisfied and rewarded with this unforgettable tournament experience.Nevertheless, I still carry a slight regret for failing to advance to the national stage. Looking ahead, I will continue studying policy white papers to refine my argument frameworks, and apply rigorous critical thinking to my academic studies and daily growth, striving to make steadier progress in every aspect.

  2023级英语本3班江昊阳同学赛后心得：The most rewarding takeaway from this debate tournament lies not in the final result, but in the continuous refinement of my logical thinking abilities through persistent daily practice. Meanwhile, I have broadened my horizons and accumulated extensive knowledge across diverse academic and professional fields.I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Coach Jiao, who accompanied us throughout the entire competition journey and offered timely guidance, professional suggestions and invaluable support.Although we unfortunately failed to qualify for the national finals and inevitably felt a sense of regret, this experience allowed me to forge precious friendships with fellow debaters and meet outstanding judges, making this journey exceptionally meaningful and fulfilling.
