I studied Applied Linguistics and Second Language Pedagogy at the University of Arizona. After receiving my doctoral degree, I have had a chance to work with a diverse student body of various socio-economic, language and cultural backgrounds at various institutions in the USA, including Trinity College in Connecticut, Santa Monica City College, and the University of California at Santa Cruz and Irvine. I offered courses on Linguistics, Academic English Reading and Writing, and English Grammar.

Prior to joining WZBC, I taught Academic English Writing at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey. I am excited to be part of WZBC and am looking forward to putting my experiences to use.
