 一、项目介绍 Program Introduction

暑期赴美带薪实习是美国政府核准的国际学生交流活动，并为参与项目的学生提供了解决经济问题的途径。参与项目的学生可以通过实习工作获取收入，同时体验美国生活和文化、与世界各国大学生进行文化交流、提高英语实际运用能力等。（通常实习收入足以抵消学生机票、食宿等费用）

    The program “Summer work & Travel USA” is an international student exchange activity approved by the US government. It provides participants with an effective approach to solve their financial problem. Students who participate in this program can earn incomes from works during their internship. Meanwhile, they can experience the life and culture of the US and have cultural exchanges with other students from countries across the world to improve their practical ability to use English. (Generally, incomes from internship are enough to offset students’ expenses such as air ticket, food and accommodation expenses.)

二、学生收益 Benefits for Students

1．纯正的美语环境，迅速提高英语的实际应用能力。

The pure American English environment helps participants quickly improve their practical ability to use English;

2．参加该项目的学生可获得终身有效的美国社保卡，确保了学生在美实习期间与美国同事同工同酬。一般情况下，实习所得薪水足以负担在美期间的生活必需开支，实习和旅游两不误。

Students who participate in this program will be granted a permanent US social security card, which ensures that students can have equal pay for equal work just like their US colleagues. Generally, salaries from their internship are enough to pay their necessary daily expenses in the US, allowing them to have internship and travel at the same time;

3．参加该项目的学生持交流访问学者签证（J-1）赴美，首次留下完美的赴美签证记录，对未来再次赴美将大有裨益。

Students who participate in this program will be granted a J-1 visa for exchange visitors, allowing them to have a perfect visa record for first time, which is in favor of the second entry into the US;

4．宝贵的海外实习经验，更多更好的工作机会。国际化企业工作经历，极大提升就业竞争力，为日后的就业前景增添更亮丽的一笔。

Valuable overseas internship experience brings more and better job opportunities to participants. Work experience at international enterprises will significantly improve the participants’ competitiveness, allowing them to have a better employment prospect;

Observing and visiting the US universities and having interviews with professors will lay a firm foundation for application for overseas study in the US;

7．美国国务院政府法案项目安全可靠，美国基金会为学校、家长、学生提供全方位跟踪服务。美国专职协调员24小时待命，第一时间掌握学生在美情况，帮助学生处理各种应急事件。

As the program is approved by the Act of the US Department of State, it is of high safety and reliability. The US foundation will provide all-round tracking services for schools, parents, and students. The US full-time coordinators are standing by for 24 hours to learn about students’ conditions in real time and help them deal with all kinds of emergencies.

三、申请资格  Applicant Qualifications

1、温州商学院在校大学生

Undergraduates of Wenzhou Business College;

2、独立自主能力较强，能适应新环境；

Have strong independent ability to adapt to new environments

3、实习期满后保证回国，继续完成学业。

Guarantee to come back to China for graduation.

四、选拔流程和收费标准 Selection Process and Charge Standards

1、学生了解项目形式和内容；

Students learn about the form and contents of the program first;

2、提交报名表，并缴纳申请费4000元人民币；

Submit application form and pay the application fee amounted to RMB 4,000;

3、参加英语水平评估测试（未通过者退还全部费用）；

Take the English Level Assessment (All fees will be refunded to applicants who cannot pass the assessment);

4、通过测试准备相关材料，缴纳项目费2800美元；

Applicants who have passed the assessment should prepare relevant materials and pay the program fee amounted to USD 2,800;

5、提交申请材料到美国国务院指定的sponsor，匹配企业进行面试；

Submit application materials to the sponsor designated by the US Department of State and have interview with matched enterprises;

6、美国企业签发工作邀请函Job offer，美国国务院授权签发DS2019表，美国大使馆签发交流访问学者签证。

The US enterprise issues a job offer. The US Department of State authorizes to issue the Form DS-2019. The US Embassy issues the J-1 visa.
